Wan 3.0, explained
Wan 3.0 is the third generation of Alibaba's Wan video models, from Tongyi Lab. The public beta opened on August 6, 2026, and Alibaba launched it officially on August 24. It renders 2 to 30 seconds in one pass at 480P, 720P or 1080P and generates voices, effects and music with the picture.
On Wan 3 API you run it in the browser: pick text, image (first and last frame) or reference mode, set the length, resolution and shape, and see the exact price before you generate. The same model is available over a REST API, with the same prices and credits.
You pay per second of video with one-time credit packs (300 credits cost $9.99), and every failed render goes straight back to your balance.
Wan 3 API is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alibaba. Wan and Wan 3.0 are trademarks of their owners.
