When to use Wan 2.7
Wan 2.7 is the generation of Alibaba's Wan models before Wan 3.0. It turns a prompt into video, or animates a first frame and can end on a last frame, at 720P or 1080P and 2 to 15 seconds long.
For reference images, clips and audio, videos longer than 15 seconds, or generated sound, use Wan 3.0 instead. On Wan 3 API switching models keeps your prompt and settings.
At 1080P it's the lowest rate on Wan 3 API: 9 credits a second, against 11 for Wan 3.0. 720P is 6 credits a second.
Wan 3 API is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Alibaba. Wan and Wan 3.0 are trademarks of their owners.

Wan 2.7 questions
The previous generation of Alibaba's Wan video models. It does text to video and image to video (a first frame, or first and last frame) at 720P or 1080P, 2 to 15 seconds.
Wan 3.0 makes longer clips (up to 30 seconds), adds reference mode and generates sound. Wan 2.7 costs less at 1080P (9 credits a second against 11) and suits image-to-video shots up to 15 seconds.
6 credits a second at 720P and 9 at 1080P, so a 5-second 720P clip is 30 credits. The price shows on the button before you generate.
Yes. Image mode needs a first frame; add a last frame if you want the clip to end on a specific image. The video takes the shape of your first frame.
2 to 15 seconds per video, in whole seconds.
